Drake Releases Four New Tracks, Announces Album Release Date

Drake treated fans to an early-morning surprise this weekend, posting four tracks to his October's Very Own website. In addition to featuring on "Versace" by Migos and "Over Here" by PartyNextDoor, Drake shared two new songs of his own, "The Motion," featuring Sampha, and "Jodeci Freestyle."

Shortly after tweeting the link to the tracks, Drake also spread the word that his new album, Nothing Was The Same, is due out on September 17th. Earlier this week, the rapper announced a 41-date tour in support of the record.

In a recent interview with GQ, Drake outlined his goals for the new material, which he said was inspired by Marvin Gaye's 1978 double album, Here My Dear. "I ain't gonna lie: I want to be the one you listen to this summer," he said.
