Elton John To Collaborate With Clean Bandit

Well this is a musical collaboration that we didn’t realise we needed in our lives until this morning, with Elton John set to team up with Grammy Award-winning group Clean Bandit.

The music legend took to his Instagram page to praise the British electro band, and revealed that he has been working with Jack Patterson in the studio alongside songwriter, Jimmy Napes.

We don’t know about you, but we think this is going to be musical gold.

Elton captioned the cutesy snapshot: “I love it when friendship springs from artistic collaboration. Jack Patterson with Clean Bandit and I have just been writing in the studio with Jimmy Napes.

“Jack is a lovely guy and we had fun catching up over lunch.”

Cor, we bet this is one pic that is going on Jack’s parents’ mantelpiece. Probs next to the Grammy, tbh.

Clean Bandit and Elton first met at the Ivor Novello awards in London earlier this year, with Grace Chatto sharing how stunned they were that Elt knew who the popular group were.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Grace said at the time: “Elton John sang some of ‘Rather Be’ to me which was amazing! I wouldn’t say he’s an obsessive fan, but he said he really likes the music and yeah, that was really exciting.”

And Elton isn’t the only megastar that the band have been getting close to, with Jack also saying recently that he has been making sweet, sweet music with actual Beyonce.

He revealed: “It was insane. Nothing happened in terms of I don’t know if there is going to be anything concrete in terms of music, unfortunately. But yeah, it freaked me out.”

We’re not surprised, love, we’re not surprised.
