Explosions in the Sky and David Wingo Find Calm in 'Wading'

Explosions in the Sky and composer David Wingo are well known for their sprawling sonic landscapes, and to score the film Prince Avalanche, the collaborators used those skills to create an imaginative and immersive experience. In this exclusive video for "Wading," Explosions in the Sky and Wingo let their haunting instrumental wash over a fire-ravaged forest, a nod to the isolated setting of Prince Avalanche.

Prince Avalanche stars Paul Rudd as Alvin, who leaves the city with his girlfriend's brother, Lance (Emile Hirsch), to spend the summer repainting traffic lines on a country highway that has been destroyed by wildfires. It opens on August 9th. Explosions in the Sky and David Wingo's score for Prince Avalanche will be available on August 6th.
