Gucci Mane Released Early from Jail

Rapper Gucci Mane has been on his best behavior lately – in more ways than one.

On Sunday, Mane (real name Radric Davis) was released early from Fulton County jail in Atlanta for good conduct. He served three months of his six-month sentence, which was handed down in September for pushing a woman out of a moving vehicle (which equated to two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct and one count of disorderly conduct).

This stint was Mane's third time in jail and, as he said yesterday, it would not be repeated: "This is the last time I think I'll ever be in jail," Gucci told XXL Magazine. "I really feel that way."

This week, TMZ also unearthed legal documents showing that Mane has settled a custody dispute with Sheena Evans, mother of his four-year-old son. He will provide $2,026 each month – approximately 8 percent of his monthly income, according to the forms – and receive visitation rights.

Perhaps the positive karma will pay off: Mane’s joint album with V-Nasty, BAYTL, was released today.
