Guitar Auction to Benefit Dio Cancer Fund

More than 100 guitars signed by musicians including Eddie Van Halen, Tom Morello, Slash, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden, Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers will be auctioned on December 1st to benefit the Dio Cancer Fund, a charity established in remembrance of Ronnie James Dio, the Los Angeles Times reports. The guitars include special instruments, like the Eddie Van Halen-signed prototype electric guitar made specifically for him. A custom hand-carved guitar made by DBZ guitars and signed by Dio is also up for grabs.

Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills will hold the auction and will preview the items on November 19th. Some of the musicians who signed and donated guitars are expected to attend.
