Kings of Leon Rained Out at Governors Ball

The first night of Governors Ball ended up a giant mud pit with fans and concession workers scrambling in the torrential wind and rain. Concert promoters finally pulled the plug on headliners Kings of Leon and Pretty Lights, after the speakers on the main stage blew in the middle of Feist's 7 p.m. set.

Other festival acts Beach House and Erykah Badu were unable to perform as well due to the weather; no word on rescheduling the featured acts has been announced. The festival is scheduled to go on as planned for the remainder of the weekend, with Guns N' Roses and Kanye West capping off Saturday and Sunday nights.

Kings of Leon Share New Album Details

Tonight would've been Kings of Leon's first gig since canceling their 2011 arena tour and announcing the release of their new, sixth studio album, Mechanical Bull.
