Metronomy Promise 'Love Letters' on Next Album

Earlier today, British dance-pop band Metronomy premiered their moody new single, "I'm Aquarius," on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio1. They also announced the details of their upcoming fourth album, Love Letters, which is set for release on March 10th, 2014 via Elektra Records.

"I'm Aquarius" is Metronomy's first new slice of music since their acclaimed 2011 LP, The English Riviera and finds band mastermind Joe Mount in a rather reflective state. Over a sparse framework of programmed R&B drums and lo-fi synths, he tells a story of new-age romance using astrology and lonely, ambiguous imagery.

The track is currently available in a quirky app called "The Night Sky," which is available in both the iOS and Android app stores for 99 cents. The band have confirmed a pair of upcoming live shows, too: January 29 in Brighton, England and January 31 in Paris.

Here is the Love Letters tracklist. Stream "I'm Aquarius" below.
