Singer Skylar Grey sings during a event with the 14th Dalai Lama, who delivered a talk for world peace, on July 9, 2011 in Washington, DC. This is the largest event the Dalai Lama has participated in after relinquishing his political role to the elected bodies of the Central Tibetan Administration since March 2011.

Skylar Grey performed in Milwaukee on May 12 as part of the Yahoo! On the Road tour.

Skylar Grey is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who is responsible for co-writing some of the most memorable songs to light up the Billboard Hot 100 and iTunes sales charts, totaling more than 25 million singles globally.

Grey co-wrote the biggest selling single of 2010, Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie,” which earned her two Grammy Award nominations for best song and best rap song. The following year, she repeated the nods for her work on Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor,” which she performed alongside Dr. Dre and Eminem at the 2011 Grammys.

With her highly anticipated debut Don't Look Down slated for a summer 2013 release, Grey rides on a wave influence from her ongoing and previous collaborators, including Alex Da Kid, Lupe Fiasco, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Rihanna.
