Stone Roses Come Together for 'Made of Stone'

The Stone Roses surprised many by regrouping in 2011. The following year, they were back on the road after 15 years apart, a trip charged in the documentary Made of Stone, which tracks the Manchester rockers' reunion and delves into their history and rise as one of British rock's most celebrated bands. In this preview clip, director Shane Meadows jumps into the band's story with archived footage – including a priceless quote from frontman Ian Brown, who says the Stone Roses will be "the biggest band ever."

And they were big – huge in the U.K., in fact, though the group only managed a pair of albums before splitting in 1996. Recently, the Stone Roses have said they're working on songs for a new album they expect to release in 2015. In the meantime, Made of Stone will screen in select theaters in November, and will be available on December 3rd on DVD (available here for pre-order) and Blu-ray (available here for pre-order).
