As we noted in July with our “10 Things You Didn’t Know About Frank Ocean” list, the gifted artist cares deeply for his cars. Perhaps it’s sensible, then, that Ocean’s watchful fans and several notable publications—NME and Complex, among them—have interpreted recent tweets from A-Trak and others to mean that the singer’s first song off Boys Don’t Cry is expected to drop in the coming weeks.

A-Trak, Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij, and others have hinted at a record of jaw-dropping quality. It’s title, “White Ferrari,” first entered the Twittersphere on November 23 by way of a note from the Fool’s Gold founder (seen below). Cosigns slowly surfaced, with one individual, reported London promoter Tremaine D Emory, going so far as to reply with “ALBUM OF THE YEAR.” Most interesting is a month-old post on Kanye To The, in which a commenter shares a story of Ocean’s cousin telling him to remember the words “White Ferrari.”

The “White Ferrari” speculation is nothing more than just that, though it’s worth noting. Stay tuned as we try to uncover the validity behind these rumors.
