U2 to Headline Two HBO Specials

HBO will air two specials featuring the rock band U2, the cable network announced Thursday.

First a behind-the-scenes documentary following the band and the team behind their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE world tour will air on Nov. 7.

A week later, on Nov. 14, the network will air the band’s concert special, recorded the same day at the Bercy Arena in Paris.

“U2 continues to take risks, which has made them one of the most consistently exciting forces in rock’n’roll,” said Michael Lombardo, President of HBO Programming. “The one-two combination of this documentary special, followed by the concert, will provide viewers with the ultimate look at this remarkable band behind the scenes and on the stage.”
