The Weeks Return Older and Wiser on 'Dear Bo Jackson' – Album Premiere

Soulful country-rockers the Weeks demonstrated how much five kids between the ages of 14 and 16 knew about pain, death, love, loss and the trials of life in the deep South when they first got together in 2006. Now older and wiser in their early 20s, the band is back with a new album, Dear Bo Jackson, recorded in Nashville with Grammy-nominated producer and engineer Paul Moak.

Now you can get an exclusive first listen here to the 11-song album, which displays heavy soul, funk and even boogie influences. There's pedal steel on "Gobi Blues," a bluesy tint to "Ain't My Stop" and an angsty indie flavor on "White Ash."

Dear Bo Jackson is due out June 30th on the Serpents & Snakes label.
