Deck the Vinyl Halls: Your Guide to Record Store Day Black Friday 2016

For fresh vinyl enthusiasts, it's the most wonderful time of the year — or one of the two most wonderful times, anyway, ever since Record Store Day went semiannual instead of just yearly. The autumn edition falls on Black Friday, of course, allowing everyone who just spent the night at Sears to pick up some truly searing rock, jazz, and hip-hop collectibles at the local indie music shop. This year, they've got everyone from Dylan and the Stones to James Bay and Erykah Badu to classic film scores and a literally stinky South Park LP. But, as they like to remind us, quantities are limited (and, in a few cases, even hand-numbered).

Along with participating stores, the handy Record Store Day website lists about 140 exclusives that will be available, although no shop will be carrying one of the titles, whose limited press runs range from 7000 copies on down to 100. Here are some of the titles we'd consider digital-defying doorbusters.
