Linda Ramone Tells the Tales Behind Her Favorite Ramones Exhibit Pieces

This month the exhibit “Hey! Ho! Let’s Go: Ramones and the Birth of Punk,” co-curated by the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles and the Queens Museum in New York, made its debut in L.A. to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Ramones’ seminal debut album. The opening gala attracted the likes of Billy Idol, Blondie’s Clem Burke, the Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones, and artist Shepard Fairey – and overseeing it all was Linda Ramone, widow of legendary Ramones guitarist Johnny Ramone. There at the Museum, Yahoo Music caught up with Linda, who shared her fun stories and personal memories behind her favorite pieces in the exhibit.
