Ratings agency Moody's has placed Royal Bank of Scotland's credit ratings on review for downgrade after Britain's finance ministry said it was considering breaking up the bank. The government, which holds an 81 percent stake, has appointed Rothschild to examine whether to transfer RBS's remaining toxic loans into a so-called 'bad bank' leaving the 'good bank' better placed to lend. The Bank of England has opted to refrain from pumping more money into the U.K. economy,citing improved signs of growth, in its first meeting since new Governor Mark Carney's arrival. Madame Tussauds has unveiled award-winning singer Adele's wax figure today in London. The museum appears to have based the statue on the Tottenham native's look from the 2012 Grammys, when she took home six awards including song and record of the year.
